    Conophytum arthurolfago，Pellucida科里一个独特的品种（同科里还有Conophytum lithopsoides类风铃、Conophytum pellucidum 勋章 ），开紫色花。

    曾用名“auhii”，也曾命名为Conophytum lithopsoides ssp. arthurolfago，已从 lithopsoides的亚种中独立出来，MESA销售编号：1449.2，还有其他编号如CR 1028、RR964，其实都是同一产地同一物种。

    The population size is unknown. Field observations suggest that individual subpopulations may be small (consisting of around 100 plants), but several subpopulations are known to exist. There are thus probably more than 1000 mature individuals. Plants are localized to quartz outcrops, which is a comparatively rare habitat in the area.

Conophytum arthurolfago (S of Brakfontein)

A distinctive member of the Pellucida section and an outlier with only a few colonies known in the south-east of the section's distribution. The centres of the flowers are occluded by the non-petalloid staminodes. The horrible name is derived from Arthur Tischer and Rolf Rawe who played parts in the early history of this species.
